The general vibe of the tournament is very balanced between playing and partying without taking either one to the extreme. We welcome a mix of high-level players looking to relax, less experienced players looking to learn, and overly experienced players looking to relive their former glory. We also do our best to cater for families and people who want to bring their kids along with them.

How to get here
Location
The Porró is held on the pristine beaches of Castelldefels.
It is easily accessed via train from Barcelona city. It is also in close proximity to Barcelona airport. Buses and connecting trains bring you right to the doorstep. It is also just a 15min taxi ride direct from the airport to the beach.

Quick answers to the questions players ask most.
Can I play on the same team as my friend?
No......Unless you are both caring for a child or if you need to be on the same for some other legitimate reason.
Picking balanced teams is very hard and trying to put friends on the same team just makes it way harder
Do you organise accommodation?
No.
In general we leave the accommodation up to you. We will likely be able to get some hotel discounts.
Will there be loads of Germans?
Yes. There are always loads of Germans. They are very organised and they have been supporting our tournament since its inception.
Do you cater to allergies?
Yes.
If you have dietary concerns or allergies, please let us know in your registration.
We do our best, to accommodate everyone.
Can beginners sign up?
Yes.
We will gladly take your money. It would be nice if you have an idea of the objectives of the game and some of its basic rules.
Is it "Real" Mixed or "Loose" Mixed?
We dream of real mixed, but in reality it is a loose mixed tournament. That is a to say that most teams will have more male players than female.
What is the deal with the cans?
We will have very large ice buckets of can You can grap as many as you like whenever you like.
We aim to have a balanced mix of

What is a Porró?
A porró (or porrón) is a traditional Catalan glass wine pitcher with two openings: a wide mouth for filling and a narrow, conical spout for drinking. It is designed for communal drinking, allowing wine, cider, or cava to be poured into the mouth from a distance without touching the lips, which enhances air exposure and improves hygiene.

What is the refund policy?
If you have been selected, but can no longer make it we will do our best to refund you your player fee.
The later you pull out the more likely we are to charge you a "cancellation fee", we will handle it on a case by case basis.
When will I know if I get accepted?
We will to have the accepted players list sorted out by early August.
What times does the tournament start/finish
Noting is set in stone yet, but we predict that games will start at 11:00 on Saturday and games will be finished by 15:00 on Monday.
I can not play on Monday what should I do?
You can still come and play Saturday and Sunday. However please let us know if you will not be available to play on Monday, so that we can keep this in mind when we are picking teams.

Bravas was founded in 1998 and we have been hosting The Porró on our home beach of Castelldefels ever since. All proceeds from The Porró are directly reinvested into our club.
Every year since 1998 (with one COVID exception) we have been pouring our energy into The Porró, to provide our participants with the best Ultimate experience that Castelldefels has to offer. It is our pleasure to share our beach with Ultimate players from all over the world.
